Last Saturday was ‘family fun day’. We went with friends and family to Gross’ Orchard about 1/2 hour from here and picked peaches and apples.
We are up to our eyeballs in peaches. Oh yes. It’s a very good thing, a juicy good thing.
I will be putting some in the freezer in chunks for smoooothies and some will be made into freezer jam. I canned some in honey syrup. Oh my it’s good!
I pieced together some things I read online and came up with this recipe.

Peaches in Honey Syrup
2 c water
1.5 c honey
heat to a boil and pour over raw peaches(that have been chunked or halved and put in clean sterilized jars).
Put lids on and water bath for 20 minutes.
