So Mom was gone the other day and it was Daddy time to do lunch. I say, hmmm, well I guess I’ll boil some pasta and then throw in a can of tuna and see what I can come up with.
Ana gets curious, ‘hey dad what are you making?’. After I tell her, she pauses and suggests skipping the tuna and instead using olive oil and herbs. “I can go out and get fresh basil and tomato from the garden!” she says. How can I deny that?
She excitedly gets herbs from Mom’s kitchen side garden and cuts them. I decide to add on some chopped feta.
I have to say that her idea was WAAAY better than mine. I appreciate the training they are getting from their Mom! Their spouses will also I thank her. Here is the outcome. Delish.
